DIY Spring Wreath Tutorial

Happy Easter! Today I decided to share my Spring Wreath.  Here is what it looks like when it's all finished:

My friend Katie from The Crafty Blog Stalker made a wreath using this technique last year.  To check out her post click HERE.  This is what her's looks like:

Ok, now here is everything that you'll need for this project:  (except I forgot to put a pencil in the picture.... ooops!)

Then you will take your paper and wrap it around your pencil like so:

Then you glue it down with a bunch of hot glue.  And you repeat this process about a million times :)  Here is what it looks like part of the way done:

Here is a close up of what my wreath looks like:

Here is one more shot of my finished Spring Wreath:

I love the way that this project turned out!  It is so cute and Springy!  This project takes a while, but I think that this is really worth it!  What do you think?!

DIY Pot Bunting

I really wanted to step up this darling pot.  I decided to add a little bunting to it.  Here are some close ups:

This is super easy to make.  It takes 5 minutes.  I free handed a triangle and then used it as a guide to cut out the rest.  Then I simply threaded some linen thread through the flags and voila... cute little DIY Pot Bunting!

Imagine a matching card to cheer up a friend!  Ok... I just might have to do that!

This is pretty cute if I do say so myself!  I love DIY projects that are cute and simple.  Now you have a Spring gift for under $10!

Lovely St George

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

This weekend I went to St George. It was beautiful and we missed the snow storm!  We went down to see my sister play soccer. Here are a few fun pics from my trip:

This picture is of Carli, Amanda, Amy and my feet :)

This is my family... minus my brother.  I'll get him on my blog sometime soon.  This is us in Dixie stadium.

This is me and my cousin Carli being crazy in St George.

And this is a panoramic picture taken with my iphone.  Not too shabby huh?!  Stay tuned for a craft this week!

DIY Treat Ideas

Hi everyone! This week I needed a little treat for two of my friends.  Hi Chart and Johnny :)  I also knew that I wanted this to be a joke... so let me tell you a little story.   About 2 years ago I dropped off some Starbursts for Chart's sister... and I came over a week later to hang out with Chart and I found out that Chart and Johnny had eaten her treat!  It has turned into a long standing joke after that... Now you know why I had to choose Starbursts!

I love that this took 5 minutes and it dresses up a little treat.  Here are the two together:

All I did was add a little tag and stamp their initials.  Is this too girly?  Oh well, I hope that they still like me :)

Hi everyone!  It has been a long time since I have posted.  The past six months have been crazy for me, and I won't bore you with the details, but I am excited to be back and posting.  I think that I got a little bit burned out... So that being said I am recommintting, but I hope to post 3x a week and stay tuned because I am going to start hosting my own Linky Party!  I am so excited!  Thanks for sticking with me through all of the changes.  And here is one of my favorite quotes to leave you with until I have an actual project to post:
