DIY Embroidered Dandelion Bag

Happy Friday!  Today I want to share my super cute Embroidered Dandelion Bag!  I wanted something cute to carry around my laptop:

I love it!  I am super excited about how this turned out!  To make your own cute embroidered bag you'll need:

You can't see the needle very well, but it's there :)  Here is my inspiration:

So, at this point you have a couple of options.  I just looked at this and went straight to sewing, but you also could draw a guide directly on the bag.  Here is the beginning of my dandelion:

I knew that my stitches would be uneven, but I liked that it looked a little bit funky.  Here is what the top part of my dandelion looked like before I added the stem:

Next I added the stem and voila!  A cute little Embroidered Dandelion Bag!

What do y'all think?!

  13. You did a beautiful job!
I just sewed up a bag and thinks it needs a little glam on the outside. Dandelions would be so cute. Thank you for the inspiration!

  14. This is lovely. My sister loves to embroider but not me. I like quicker things. I can appreciate the work, though. :)

    Best wishes, Linda
