Grandma's Orange Rolls

Hi everyone!  I have been toying with the idea for a while to add recipes on my blog.  Here is the issue... I'm not a great cook. I have a lot to learn, so I'll share my successes as well as my failures as long as y'all promise not to laugh too hard :) Today I'm sharing my Grandma's yummy Orange Rolls:

These rolls are delicious!  I just made them for my family and they were gone pretty quickly!  Ok, here's a close up:

On to the recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cans of biscuits
Rind of 2-3 oranges
1 Cup sugar
1/4 Cup butter

Mix grated rind and sugar.  Sprinkle enough of this mixture to cover the bottom of the bundt pan.  Dip individual biscuits in butter and then roll them in the sugar and rind mixture. Layer the covered biscuits in a bundt pan with the edges touching.  For the second layer do not place a roll directly on top of another roll, but rather place it on the seem of two rolls.  Then bake at 375ยบ for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

I love this recipe.  It reminds me of my grandma, and let's face it... it's just yummy!

  23. Oh, I have this recipe and they are YUMMY! They disappear in a big hurry when ever I make them too. When I was first married I had hardly cooked a thing. I was a very active and busy teen so I wasn't home to cook much. Now people tell me I am an excellant cook. Practice makes perfect. Never be afreaid to share! I love cooking, but rarely do food posts. lol! Go figure. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup. Happy to be a new follower.

  31. My in-laws LOVE orange-flavored baked goods, but I'm a little unsure. Probably because they buy those Pillsbury pull apart orange rolls in a can and they just taste...artificial. I think if I made this, they'd never go back to the fake stuff. Plus, even if I didn't like it, the amazing smell in my kitchen would be worth it. Thanks for sharing!
