I have a good friend and mentor whose birthday is today. I decided to make this card for her. The stitching is a little uneven, but that's ok with me. It's supposed to look handmade. Here's a close up:
I hope that Pam has a lovely birthday and I hope that she likes my card. Is that dumb to hope that she likes it? Is everyone out there always super confident in their crafts? Any way, it's probably the thought that counts right?!

I have been going through some of your posts and I love your fresh ideas. Especially those letters! When I saw the "A" I thought of my granddaughters and how cute letters like that would be in their new bedroom. I have two granddaughters, Abbey and Lucy . . . then I go down the page and there's the "L". EEEEEEEEEEEEE! like you have ESP and you knew I would be visiting, LOL. Well, you are so creative and your talents have won me over.
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower. Come on over I adore company . . . if I could I would have a dish of warm cookies on the table when you arrive. Connie :)
This is adorable! Found you through the Jam's Corner link up, newest follower :)

Just cute! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love stitched cards... I always think they look neat!
ReplyDeleteGreat card - love the stitching! I'm sure your friend will love it! I'm never super confident in my crafts - but I think when you make something yourself, you're aware of every tiny little imperfection - that no-one else ever notices!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to a Round Tuit!
Hope you have a fabulous week!

I think with handcrafted gifts we feel a certain amount of anxiety because we know our creations can rarely live up to the love with which they're made. We hope the recipient receives the full measure of our love and care. And I'm sure she did. Thanks so much for linking up at I Gotta Create! <3 Christina
