Paper Welcome Wreath

Hello everyone!  I am really excited to share this wreath today with you!  I originally saw a wreath that inspired me to make my own version.  Thank you Alecia Connelly for coming up with an awesome original design!  Ok, on to the tutorial:

The first step is to make a base.  I made mine out of a card board box.  All I did was trace a bowl in my kitchen and then cut this out with an box cutter.

The next steps is to fold 8x8 squares into cone shapes.  For this layer I used a glue stick to get the paper to stay.

Then I glues the paper cones to my base using hot glue.

Here's the back of my wreath... just in case you were wondering...

Sorry, this picture is a little bit messy... anyway, then you are going to fold your cones out of 6x6 squares and attach them to your original layer of cones with hot glue.

Then I embellished my wreath with some lollies.  To learn how to make lollies click Here.  I also made a distressed vintage flower.  To learn to make one of those click Here.  I also added a fun little welcome banner.  Here's one last shot of my wreath:
